Hellas Rally Raid 2022 - Day 4
Hellas Rally Raid 2022 - Day 4
Motoring action continues on day 4 of the Hellas Rally Raid, probably the longest and warmest day for all participants who stood on the starting line in Loutraki. Hundreds of screaming engines blasted through some of the most unique locations Greece has to offer, on their way to Itea where the temporary bivouac was located. The Special Stage of the day was 330 kilometers and all participants had to try and make it with minimal damage because there would be no mechanical support for them in Itea.
Navigating through hundreds kilometers of challenging trails and gorgeous mountain peaks, the end of Day 5 found Austrian youngster Ebster Tobias leading the MOTO class, surpassing Julien Jagu who was in front till this morning. Manu Castan and Amandine Faget came on top at the SSV category.
The route was fast but there was one tricky section with a very tight and steep uphill which was really challenging for all riders. On the fifth day participants are expected to return to the main bivouac in Loutraki to finish off the second part of the longest marathon stage in Europe.
