Poor wind conditions cancel races on the 3rd day of the 2021 Porto Finn Gold Cup

The Atlantic storm that affected Portugal in the last hours forced the cancellation, for the second consecutive day, of the "2021 Porto Finn Gold Cup".

The sailors waited for several hours at sea, but unfavorable wind conditions did not allow the 3 races scheduled for the day.

The local authorities imposed a return period at 3:30 pm on land due to concerns that the strong ebbing tide could further worsen the conditions of entry into the harbor. Therefore at 2:30 pm, despite having some good wind at sea, the decision to abandon the third day of racing was taken.

With 3 races held on Saturday, it is expected that weather conditions will improve for tomorrow, thus giving continuity to this world championship of the Finn Class.
