【Beijing, October 19, 2026】The 13th Longines Beijing Masters concluded successfully at the National Stadium (Bird's Nest). Held under the annual theme 「A Leap for the Moment」, this FEI CSI3 show jumping event* offered total prize money of nearly RMB 2 million. Affected by heavy rainfall, the originally four-day schedule was extended to five days, with the competition held from October 15 to 19. With seamless horse-and-rider partnerships and spectacular clear rounds, Chinese and international riders together fulfilled this autumn rendezvous that weathered wind and rain.
Five Days of Fierce Competition, Riders Grow and Shine
The 13th Longines Beijing Masters concluded successfully after five days of competition, with champions across all classes crowned. The event covered multiple classes including the U14 Team Challenge, Team Challenge, Challenge Classic 1st Round, CT Elite Classic 1st Round and international classes. Chinese and international riders competed side by side in a fast-paced, highlight-filled contest.
Among them, the 150CM Longines Grand Prix was the focus of the entire event, where international and Chinese riders battled at the highest level over course options, pace control and horse-rider harmony, delivering the most thrilling competitive moments of this edition. Chinese riders achieved excellent results in multiple classes, with seasoned riders performing steadily and new talents emerging. Particularly noteworthy is the rapid progress of young riders, who stood out in the U14 Rising Star competition, the 125CM Championship and the team events, demonstrating the growth potential of China's equestrian reserve force.
From individual classes to team events, and from international categories to the junior arena, riders of different ages and experience gathered at the Bird's Nest, testing their training in real competition and accumulating valuable experience. This edition not only presented top-level equestrian sport, but also revealed the rapid growth of Chinese riders, especially the young generation, adding a vivid footnote to the development of equestrian sport in China.
Standing Together Through Wind and Rain, Sharing the Joy of Completion
Turning adversity into joy takes courage and resolve. Faced with wind, rain and a revised schedule, riders, the organizing team, partners and spectators joined hands to respond and strove to do their best. The laughter after successfully completing the competition became the “rainbow” that everyone welcomed together after the storm.
The Equestrian Park Brings the Public Closer to Equestrian Sport
Rider autograph sessions, pony interactions, tack displays and family activities allowed spectators to experience equestrian culture up close at the Equestrian Park, sharing the fun beyond the arena with the mascots “Dashing” and “Dazzling.” The event partnered with the HOPE Equestrian Rehabilitation Charity Center to present a charity exhibition of paintings by autistic children, “Children of the Stars,” conveying the warmth and care of equestrian sport.
Thirteen Editions of Heritage, Continuously Connecting Chinese Equestrian Sport with the World
Since its founding in 2011, the Masters has connected Chinese equestrian sport with the world through international competition and exchange, as well as the “Road to the Bird's Nest” qualification system. In the opening year of the 15th Five-Year Plan, the event continues to advance youth development and public participation. The Masters has been livestreamed on multiple overseas platforms over the years, and this year, for the first time, a Chinese livestreaming platform offered bilingual commentary in both Chinese and English, giving audiences of different native languages more options.
Awards including Rookie of the Year, China MVP Rider, Best Owner and Best Groom honor the collective dedication both inside and outside the arena.
As the five-day competition drew to a close, the moments of horse and rider clearing obstacles together, and the courage of facing wind and rain side by side, will become treasured memories of this edition, accompanying every fellow traveler on the journey to the next stage.
